Nathalia Furukane

Jobs: WHM, BRD, DRG
Personality: polite and kind but very protective and passionate. Frequently has Freudian slips and is a goofball, but somehow is still incredibly reliable
Bed type: bottom. Will caress you and whisper sweet nothings. Gets freaky when she's a top, but still makes sure you're having a good time

Backstory

Nathalia was born and raised to a second generation immigrant father and first generation immigrant mother family in Gridania (hence Western name and Eastern surname). She was always interested in the supportive arts and her first combat vocation was as a Conjurer and later a White Mage. She eventually picked up the bow and studied as a Bard to have a more offensive combat option.
Eventually, she enlisted in the Order of the Twin Adder to help with maintaining the peace in Gridania. During one hunting expedition, her party started rapidly losing numbers. She found her bow snapped in half and aether reserves low, and unable to deal enough damage and healing with enough efficiency to finish the fight. In an act of desperation, Nathalia opted to take her comrade's lance and was leaping from monster to monster and finished the Hunt. Nathalia saw this as an opportunity to broaden her horizons further and study under the Lancers, the last combat guild in Gridania, to have some highly damaging combat abilities should things go awry.
Eventually, she felt her talents would be better used elsewhere and decided to become an Adventurer. She also took this as an opportunity to journey eastward to Othard and Hingashi after hearing numerous stories from her parents and everywhere in between.

Nobara Urubito

Jobs: RDM, GNB, DNC
Personality: genki tomboy. Very extroverted and protective but sometimes clumsy. She very rough around the edges, but means well
Bed type: top and power bottom. She calls the shots but will make sure you have a good time

Backstory

Nobara was born and raised on the Azim Steppe to a very traditional tribe. She had always wondered what was beyond the Steppe, but this tribe was incredibly isolationist.
Once while making a delivery to a neighboring tribe, she had gazed upon Troupe Falsiam and was completely awestruck and had wished they would visit her own tribe. She had thought about them day and night and eventually ran from home towards the Ruby Sea and Kugane. There, she took on odd jobs to pay for her food and eventually a ticket to Thavnair.
She joined a local dance troupe and took up the chakram. Wanting to see even more of the world, she continued her journey westward and met Xrhun Tia and studied under him for some time. Later on, she came across a smaller unit of Gunnhildr's Blades and was fascinated by the flashiness and destructive power of the Gunblade and traveled with them for some time. After mastering the Gunblade, she stayed with them for some additional time blending the teachings of the Blades with Xrhun's to create her own custom dual wield style of combat. With all of this versatility under her belt, she eventually left the Blades to do solo work, once again, a free spirit venturing the world.
Once while on a Hunt, a nest of Antlions was far larger than she could handle and was about to be devoured alive. All of a sudden, she started seeing arrows flying, taking down several Antlions, providing an opportunity to heal herself. Nobara saw a blur leap in, plunging a spear deep within one of the larger Antlions. The stranger switched over to a staff and instructed Nobara to focus on an aggressive offense and they cleared the Antlion nest. In thanks, Nobara offered to share a meal and some of the spoils with the stranger. That stranger was Nathalia Furukane. The two became fast friends and decided to travel the world together.

Thesa Oghu

Personality: kuudere. Can kill you in numerous ways but knows just as many ways to take care of you
Bed type: very soft and caring. Will go so far as to even cook breakfast for you the morning after. Ensures sure everyone has “their turn”. Switches between any role and kink/fetish and aims to please

Backstory

Thesa and her family left Sharlayan to study in Werlyt before the Garlean occupation. When the XIVth Legion invaded, her parents were killed and Thesa had survived through sheer survival instincts and a natural aptitude for combat. She was eventually discovered by Gaius van Baelsar and his men and brought to his orphanage. Not wanting her talents to go to waste, she was spirited away by a covert unit of the Garlean military, one such unit even Gaius was not made aware of, and trained as a Garlean assassin in espionage (Ninja) and firearms (Machinist).
Eventually, Thesa started asking the big questions and fled to Ala Mhigo to rediscover herself and formally train in martial arts. After much introspection and deliberation, she opted to take on the grittiest jobs using her combat skills and prowess to take down the most dangerous marks even though it meant potentially losing her own life.
One day, a bounty mission went horribly wrong and she was fleeing her mark in the Coerthas Western Highlands and passed out in the snow. Nathalia and Nobara happened to be on a hunting expedition out there and found Thesa nearly dead from severe hemorrhaging. She was nursed to health by the two and was about to go back out and attempt to finish the job alone. Nathalia insisted on Thesa staying and convinced Thesa to discuss the bounty hunt. Thesa didn’t want to take them along, but Nathalia and Nobara invited themselves along. They set out to take down their mark, Nobara focusing on defense with her gunblade, Nathalia focusing on healing, and Thesa focusing on exploiting any weak points and vulnerabilities. Even with the three of them, they had barely escaped with their lives. However, Thesa had found two friends she can rely on and decided to join them in their travels, eventually leading to the formation of The Shepherds.
